Sorry for the late notice friends but I just wanted to announce that we wil be adding another early workout to the schedule, starting tomorrow at 6:00am. Now all the crazy firebreathers who can get their arses out of bed before the crack of dawn can workout at least three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, or Friday at 6am. Don’t be lazy like Marcus, floss those teeth with some bacon and get your day started with some Crossfit!

p.s. Since I started Zone/partial Paleo, I have had to adjust my breakfast meal quite a bit. I went from a cereal addict to a bacon and egg believer! What’s your favorite breakfast? Post here.

  1. You nailed it. Eggs, bacon, and bacon flavored floss to finish it all off.

  3. 4oz flank steak, almonds, and a couple juiced apples. I miss my Foreman grill.

  4. 3 whole eggs cooked with sweet peppers, tomatoes and lots of spices, 3 strips bacon (Costco sells frozen pre-cooked bacon in packages of 50 for around $8), 12 oz glass of water and two cup sof coffee. I used to eat around the fat on bacon until Courtney told me “fat is your friend.” Now I’m leaner AND happier! Thanks Court!

  5. Seriously,
Before a big race, an egg McMuffin. You have protein, fat and a little carbo. I can’t go with oatmeal or anything high glycemic or I will bonk and get the jitters.
PB&J is another good pre race meal. The fat in the PB keeps me going.
For everyday, a scrambled egg sandwich, with mayo. Coffee always.
If I haven’t prepared anything and have to buy breakfast, a scrambled egg wrap from Subway, they are really good.

  6. work days is usually a smoothie: frozen blueberries, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, acai pulp, some juice/choc soy milk for fluid dynamics, whey protein, psyllium, flax seed meal, and greek yoghurt. this also a post WoD meal. Days off are often the same, or eggs scrambled with sausage, onions and enough garlic to make my roommates complain. Thanks for the costco-bacon notion. I get my smoothie fruits there. Flats of fruits and an afternoon of cutting pits and stems. Coffee often happens much later for me on work days, as I have limited amount of time in the morning.
