The Chief (Craig) turns 39 tomorrow. Show up to find out what his birthday work out is… if you dare!!! Post your guesses for the workout or your congrats here.
Happy Birthday Chief! I’m so sad I’m going to miss your birthday tomorrow! I’ll be on a plane, so maybe I can enjoy your BD workout after I get back…
I’m also glad to hear that you’re back in Hawaii so that your kids can have more than one “grumpy” parent (ask Gretchen).
Chief
The old cheif and I can’t make it for your special work out, We will be there on thursday and feel we should celebrate on that day
So from us to you
Happy birthday
OUCH OUCH OUCH….. I was way off in my guess for Craig’s “Happy” Birthday WOD. While Gretchen was wishing for a MUCH younger husband (if you do the WOD you will know why…it is NOT for lack of loving her Craig), I was thanking our lucky stars he did not go with his original plan of 39 different skills and elements….As Rene wrote on the board…”Oh, the sweet pain”. Don’t feel bad,Tom- I went 8 min. longer than you and took 14 (yes 14) min. to finish one of the elements. Brilliant and nasty,Craig….thanks for the schoolin’.

Thanks to all of you who showed-up even after Bryant’s taunt/warning/dare!
I truly enjoyed “partying” and getting “torn-up” with all of you on my Birthday.
1000 box jumps….Happy Birthday, Craig!!!

1000 box jumps followed by millions of burpees
Comment by Jill — April 15, 2008 @ 11:37 pm
1 burpee/squat-clean/thrusters (w/16kg kettlebell)
1 windshield wipers
1 extreme pushups (feet raised)
1 ring dip
Add one rep to each exercise, each round, until you hit 39 rounds.
Happy Birthday Craig!

Or better yet, start at 39 reps for each exercise, subtract one rep from each exercise each round.

It was brutal. 50:53 for me (though most people were scoring in the mid 30’s).
